These 7 styles of shoes are all you need this season

1. Lace up

Versatile lace up shoes give you a delicate formal look by day and transform into a a sexy date night look by night. We love how they look just darling with jeans, skirts, cocktail dresses and shorts. Put them on and lace 'em up to give any outfit in your wardrobe a sleek and refined style that says "this girl has got some class". We love the Steve Madden "Sunshine" lace ups (below) which we carry in store.

2. Ankle Booties

Perfect for work, class or a street style, ankle boots are the go to shoe this season. And who doesn't love booties? I have a slight obsession with booties at the moment and last I checked I had six pair! One for just about every mood I could possibly be in. Ankle booties are just so versatile and a good investment to add to the closet. From bell bottoms to leggings and of course skirts, they won't disappoint....plus this skinny jean cuffing trend is still going strong so grab a few pair and strut in style. We love these cuties below by Steve Madden which we carry in our boutique.

3. Peep Toe Booties and Heels

What's cuter than your pretty little toes peeping out of a boot? As long as you have clipped those nails of course...but seriously, these open toe boots and heels will give you a chance to show off your beautiful pedi this winter. Just like all the other foot fashion on the list, this style is versatile for the day to night transition. We found these at Lulu's online.

4. Thigh High Boots or Over the Knee Boots

The first time I saw thigh high boots was on pretty woman when Julia Roberts had to zip hers up with a paperclip and touch up the scuffs with a black marker. Some of you may say that thigh highs have a certain stigma and a bad rap but I say neigh....not only are they warm when you want to wear a short dress during the chilly winters but they are all the rave this year and making quite the comeback. They are basically leggings with a heel attached. I urge you to give them a try this season, I guarantee you will be hooked...and get a bucket load of compliments to boot...ha

5. Kitten Heels

Add a little retro vintage flare to any outfit with an adorable kitten heel. I scored a pair of black Italian Vero Cuoio leather kitten heel boots at the local thrift store a couple of weeks ago. I am rather tall...5'11"...they are just the perfect amount of heel so that I don't feel like a total giant but still get the heel effect.

6. Western Style

Cowgirl boots never go out of style, we Texans know that for a fact. With so many styles to choose from you can express your personality with pizaz. I love the fringe look and the floral designs.. so many choices!

7. Evening Pumps

A girl can't go wrong with a pair of black or nude pumps. Slingbacks, ankle straps, or the classic regular style pump. A girl's closet is not complete without a pair. They are just darling when paired with jeans or a cute cocktail dress.
